The President of Chad, H.E. Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, touched down in N’Djamena late this evening following an official state visit to the United Arab Emirates.
High-level meetings with UAE leadership
The Head of State engaged in two separate discussions with the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first meeting took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second was held at the Marshal’s official residence.
Warm welcome at home
Upon landing at N’Djamena International Airport, President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno was greeted by a delegation led by the Prime Minister, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina. The welcoming party also included the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the Head of the Presidential Secretariat, the Chief of Military Household, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
