The Benin Constitutional Court concluded a five-day seminar on July 17 in Agoué, evaluating the presidential election held on April 12, 2026. High-ranking judges and legal experts examined the entire electoral process to assess strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement ahead of future polls.
Leadership and outcomes of the evaluation
Vice-President Nicolas Assogba chaired the closing ceremony in place of President Dorothé Sossa.
