After a challenging season on loan at Tottenham, Randal Kolo Muani is unlikely to continue at Paris Saint-Germain. While Juventus has set its sights on the French striker as a top priority for summer transfers, this potential move faces strong opposition from an unexpected quarter. Veteran striker Nicola Amoruso has publicly voiced his preference for retaining Dusan Vlahovic instead.

Juventus is expected to be active in the transfer market this summer, with a focus on bolstering its attacking lineup. Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as the club’s preferred target, despite his underwhelming performance during his spell at Tottenham. Meanwhile, Juventus may part ways with Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract expires on June 30, to free up financial resources. However, Nicola Amoruso has strongly advised against this move, calling it a critical misstep.
Amoruso firmly backs Vlahovic over Kolo Muani
“If I have to choose one, I’ll always pick Dusan,” the former Juventus striker declared in a recent interview. He added, “Being fully integrated doesn’t necessarily mean no one wants him. The Serbian forward is elite in his position. I don’t see many available strikers with his level and potential, which is why I believe renewing his contract would be the right call. He finished the season with an outstanding mindset and a strong desire to play for Juventus. Spalletti’s tactical approach and trust in him have transformed him into a complete striker, and his goals—when fit—proved his quality. I truly hope an agreement can be reached.”
“Always choose Dusan over Kolo Muani,” insists Amoruso
Addressing Juventus’ broader transfer strategy, Amoruso advised sporting director Giovanni Carnevali, saying, “We need world-class players, champions. It’s not easy, as the Champions League exit complicates the evaluation of such talents. Still, we must rebuild by staying true to Juventus’ legacy, which has always been built on champions.”
