Paris Saint-Germain have officially completed their first summer transfer, with Gonçalo Ramos moving to AC Milan for around €70 million. But more departures are expected: Randal Kolo Muani is close to joining Juventus, and Kang-in Lee is reportedly heading to Atlético de Madrid. Now, another young talent could be on his way out.
Moscardo heading to Espanyol Barcelona on loan
Gabriel Moscardo, the 20-year-old midfielder signed for €20 million in January 2024, has spent time on loan at Stade de Reims during the 2024-2025 season and at Braga last season. Currently under contract until June 2028, Spanish media report that a loan to Espanyol Barcelona is highly likely. Sources close to the situation indicate that the operation has strong chances of being completed.
‘I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain’
Back in April, Gabriel Moscardo expressed his desire to return to PSG, where he has yet to play an official match. “We haven’t discussed next season yet. My agent, along with the PSG management, will decide what’s best for me. Of course, I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, do the pre-season there—because that’s where I belong. I’m getting more playing time. I’m improving, and this year at Braga was very important; it gave me experience for the next challenges. And God willing, one day I will play a full season at Paris Saint-Germain and prove I am capable,” he said.
