The Moroccan Ambassador to Niger, accompanied by the Nigerien Minister of Foreign Affairs, formally commenced the celebration of the 27th anniversary of Morocco’s Fête du Trône in Niamey. This significant event served as an occasion to reflect on the Kingdom’s remarkable achievements under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.
Ambassador Mohammed Iboumraten, Morocco’s envoy to Niamey, highlighted the profound transformations within the Kingdom. “Morocco has significantly upgraded its infrastructure, industrial landscape, geopolitical standing, and social protection frameworks,” he stated. “Key sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energies have fundamentally reshaped the nation’s productive capacity.”
The festivities also provided an opportune moment to emphasize the outstanding friendship and collaborative spirit between Morocco and Niger. These historical bonds continue to strengthen year after year, fostered by strategic partnerships across numerous mutually beneficial sectors.
The Ambassador further elaborated, “Cooperation between Morocco and Niger is built upon deep historical roots, strong solidarity, and a shared commitment to enhancing bilateral ties across political, economic, security, cultural, and spiritual spheres. King Mohammed VI’s dedication to Niger has been demonstrated through two royal visits and a consistent pursuit of a balanced, mutually advantageous partnership.”
