Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS, a prominent holding company, has officially confirmed its acquisition of SICTA (Société Ivoirienne de Contrôle Technique Automobile), the long-standing vehicle inspection operator in Côte d’Ivoire.

During a press briefing held in Abidjan on April 29, David Fofana, the CEO of Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS, elaborated on the strategic takeover of SICTA and the significant progress achieved in the year since its effective integration into the group.

Through this absorption, Mayelia not only embraces SICTA’s impressive 50-year legacy of expertise but also infuses it with a renewed drive for innovation and modernization.

A primary objective articulated by the leadership is to dramatically enhance the client experience. This ambition is well-supported by Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS’ proven track record; the group previously set new industry benchmarks by reducing waiting times to just 30 minutes with the launch of Mayelia Automotive, signaling a notable transformation in service standards.

The company is firmly committed to aligning with the government’s stringent “Zéro complaisance” policy. By doing so, it positions itself as a crucial ally to the State in bolstering road safety initiatives and actively working to decrease traffic-related fatalities.

Beyond its core activities in automotive technical inspection, Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS has evolved into a rapidly expanding multisectoral conglomerate. Driven by a clear pan-African vision, its strategy centers on fostering synergy across its diverse operations. Currently active in two nations, the Group oversees six subsidiaries engaged in vital sectors, including mobility (Mayelia Mobilité), cutting-edge technologies (CIEIRIA), professional development and training (Mayelia Academy), alongside its specialized vehicle inspection services (Mayelia Automotive Côte d’Ivoire, Mayelia Automotive Guinée, and SICTA).
