Jordan strongly condemns foiled terror plots in Morocco
Jordan has forcefully condemned terror plots foiled in Morocco, pledging unwavering solidarity with Rabat in safeguarding its security, sovereignty, and stability.
In an official statement from the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Amman denounced the elaborate schemes aimed at disrupting public order and endangering lives and property across Morocco.
Speaking on behalf of the ministry, Ambassador Fouad Majali reaffirmed Jordan’s absolute support for Morocco and its backing of all measures taken by Rabat to protect its citizens, uphold national security, and maintain stability.
This strong stance follows Morocco’s announcement of the dismantling of highly dangerous terror plots, which were at an advanced stage of execution.
Conducted based on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for National Security, simultaneous operations across Moroccan cities led to the arrest of radicalized individuals.
Preliminary investigations suggest these suspects were logistically coordinated and operationally supported by the Daech affiliate active in the Sahel region.
