The President of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, returned to N’Djamena late yesterday evening after concluding an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During his stay in Abu Dhabi, the Chadian head of state held two separate meetings with the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was hosted at Marshal Deby’s temporary residence.
Upon landing in N’Djamena, the President was greeted by a high-level delegation, including the Prime Minister, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, key government officials, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of Staff of the Presidency, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Advisor, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
