The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure of Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, concluded a two-day working visit to N’Djamena on Thursday. He was received by Chad’s Prime Minister and Head of Government, Mr. Allamaye Halina, in a meeting that underscored the deep ties between the two nations.

During the audience, Mr. Halina expressed his country’s appreciation for the visionary leadership of Algeria’s President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune. He highlighted the President’s consistent efforts to foster bilateral cooperation and strengthen integration between Algeria and Chad, emphasizing the strategic importance of their partnership on the African continent.

The Chadian Prime Minister also conveyed the heartfelt greetings from Chad’s Head of State, President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to President Tebboune. This gesture reflected the enduring bonds of history, brotherhood, and solidarity that unite the two nations and their peoples.

Mr. Halina further extended warm greetings to Algeria’s Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties and expanding collaboration across multiple sectors.

The Algerian delegation present during the meeting included key figures such as the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad, and senior officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure. Also in attendance were the CEOs of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Company (Entp), marking the significance of this high-level engagement.
