Chad-CAR joint force commander supports wounded troops in Sarh
General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, commander of the Chad-CAR Joint Force, personally visited soldiers injured in Korbol, emphasizing the critical need for their swift evacuation to N’Djamena for advanced medical treatment.
The commander of the Chad-Central African Republic (CAR) Joint Force, Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, recently undertook a significant visit to the provincial hospital of Sarh Outel Bono. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Hor extended his personal support to the military personnel who sustained injuries during recent confrontations in the Korbol department. The primary objective of his visit was to assess the condition of the two soldiers affected by an armed assault that occurred the preceding Thursday in the region.
Among the injured were Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36 years old, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane, who sustained a fractured left leg after being hit by gunfire. Both servicemen were initially receiving care at Sarh Provincial Hospital. However, their injuries were determined to be severe enough to warrant more specialized medical intervention.
Following discussions with the attending physicians and hospital staff, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested the urgent transfer of the injured soldiers to N’Djamena. This decision was made to ensure they could access advanced medical facilities and receive the comprehensive care necessary for their recovery. Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Deputy Director of Sarh Provincial Hospital, commended the swift response of the defense and security forces in organizing the evacuation of their comrades for appropriate treatment.
Hospital sources confirmed that the medical transfer of both soldiers was carried out as an emergency procedure on the same day. Military authorities are hopeful that this expedited action will significantly enhance the soldiers’ prospects for a full and successful recuperation.
