Astrid Pérez, President of the Canary Islands Parliament, received Fatiha El Kamouri, Morocco’s Consul General in the Canary Islands, this Wednesday to mark the conclusion of her four-year mandate, during which she significantly strengthened institutional relations between Morocco and the archipelago.

Fatiha El Kamouri, of Sahrawi origin, arrived in the Canary Islands in 2022 after serving as Morocco’s Consul in Bilbao for six years, where she actively engaged in strengthening institutional ties and supporting the Moroccan community in the region.
