On Sunday afternoon in Baga-Sola, the youth of the Lake region demonstrated solidarity with the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), who are at the forefront of the fight against Boko Haram. This initiative was organized by the Coordination of Youth Associations of the Lake (CADELAC).
Under the watchful eyes of local leaders, the coordinator, Mahamat Adam Moustapha, first conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the recent attacks in Barka Tollorom. He then praised the unwavering dedication of the FDS in safeguarding peace, while reaffirming the youth’s commitment to vigilance and community mobilization.
The CADELAC’s gesture, though modest, carried significant weight. The association presented five 50-kilogram bags of rice and ten cartons of pasta to the security personnel. According to the coordinator, this donation reflects the resilient spirit of the youth, who are determined to back the forces ensuring safety in the Lake Province.
