The FIBA Africa regional office has officially announced the host nations for the fourth window of the 2027 FIBA World Cup African qualifiers.
Tunisia will stage the Group E fixtures at the renowned Radès Multipurpose Hall, located in the outskirts of Tunis, while Senegal will host the Group F matches at the Dakar Arena.
Action gets underway from August 27 to August 30, when teams will compete for crucial points in the qualification race.
Group E lineup and standings
The Group E roster features Cameroon (5-1), Guinea (4-2), Tunisia (4-2), Nigeria (4-2), South Sudan (4-2) and Cape Verde (3-3). These teams will battle it out in Tunis to secure their path to the next round.
Group F contenders and current form
The Group F lineup includes Senegal (5-1), Côte d’Ivoire (5-1), Mali (5-1), Angola (4-2), Egypt (3-3) and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2-4). With such a competitive field, the Dakar Arena is set to host high-stakes basketball action.
