Traoré Amidou officially assumed his duties as the new Director General of Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ENERGIES) this Friday, July 24, 2026. The transition occurred during a formal handover ceremony, overseen by Yves Konan, who chairs the company’s Board of Directors.
He steps into the role previously held by Noumory Sidibé, who successfully led CI-ENERGIES for nearly five years.
During the event, the Board of Directors expressed profound appreciation for the “remarkable work” accomplished by the outgoing Director General, Noumory Sidibé, acknowledging his significant contributions.
CI-ENERGIES operates as a state-owned enterprise, primarily tasked with overseeing and advancing the electricity sector throughout Côte d’Ivoire.
