The PASTEF-Les Patriotes party successfully concluded a two-day political outreach initiative across the Jolof region. This extensive tour spanned all 19 communes within the Linguère department, touching communities from Dahra to Barkédji, including Sagatta and Yang-Yang. The party’s esteemed leader, Ousmane Sonko, was present throughout, accompanied by Minister of State Habib Sy, alongside numerous national executives and key allies from their coalition.
A central feature of this mobilization involved engaging with local religious and customary authorities, as well as connecting directly with the party’s grassroots structures, including youth movements, women’s groups, and executive cadres. Following these impactful interactions, the local party leadership formalized its strategic roadmap for upcoming phases. With the official opening of their departmental headquarters and the commencement of membership card distribution, PASTEF aims to significantly strengthen its territorial presence through a focused, community-centric approach across the department’s villages and neighborhoods.
Beyond this phase of internal organization, local political leaders are extending an open invitation for unity and collaboration. They are calling upon militants, sympathizers, and political actors from other formations who share their vision for territorial development to join their expanding project.
