The Prime Minister of Algeria, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, arrived in Gorou Banda, Niamey, this Wednesday, to preside over the official inauguration of the new Solidarity power plant. This landmark event marks the plant’s transition into full operational status.
Mr. Ghrieb’s attendance follows a presidential directive from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, underscoring Algeria’s commitment to strengthening energy partnerships in the region.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mr. Mourad Adjal, and the Director General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation in Solidarity and Development, Mr. Abed Halouz.
