The partnership between Mali and Morocco is set to enter a new chapter as Bamako prepares to host the fourth session of the Great Mixed Cooperation Commission from July 21 to 24, 2026. This high-level gathering, organized by Mali’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will bring together government officials, industry experts, and business leaders to map out the future of bilateral cooperation.
Four days of intensive dialogue and strategic planning will focus on reviewing ongoing initiatives, assessing progress, and identifying fresh opportunities for collaboration. The agenda is packed with discussions on key sectors driving development, including trade, agriculture, infrastructure, energy, and health, among others.
The event kicks off with technical discussions on July 21 and 22, followed by the Mali-Morocco Business Forum on July 23, designed to foster economic ties and unlock investment potential. The final day, July 24, will feature the ministerial meeting where key decisions and agreements are expected to be formalized.
Among the highlights of this session is the anticipated signing of multiple bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding. These documents aim to strengthen the legal framework for cooperation and accelerate the execution of joint projects with high developmental impact.
