Scottish football giant Celtic has successfully completed the acquisition of Egyptian winger Haitham Hassan from Spanish side Real Oviedo. The highly anticipated move secures Hassan for four seasons, with his contract extending until the summer of 2030. This significant transfer was brought to light by renowned journalist Giorgos Tsarouchas.

Tsarouchas confirmed, through his official account on the platform « X », that the agreement has been 100% finalized among all involved parties. The Egyptian sensation has reportedly accepted the terms presented by the reigning Scottish champions, while Real Oviedo has indicated its readiness to sanction the departure of their star player, pending the finalization of certain bonus clauses.

A crucial element of the contract is a substantial financial bonus earmarked for both Haitham Hassan and his former club, Real Oviedo, should Celtic successfully qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage. This particular provision had been previously hinted at by the journalist in a report dating back to July 26th.
