The 45th Annual General Assembly of the Shelter Afrique Development Bank (ShafDB) has officially commenced in Rabat. This year, the gathering focuses on a pivotal issue for the continent’s economic future: the financing of Africa’s rapid urban transformation.
The inaugural session took place with the participation of Nadia Fettah Alaoui and the institution’s president. The discussions highlight the urgent need to address the financial demands of expanding cities across Africa. As urban populations continue to rise, the assembly in Morocco serves as a platform to strategize on sustainable infrastructure and housing solutions that can keep pace with this demographic shift.
