However, the current president of the Commission de clarification et de restauration, Pierre Emmanuel Binyam, stated that given the present circumstances of the Mrc, Maurice Kamto remains the right person to steer the party forward.

“Maurice Kamto is not the only one who can manage the MRC, but in the current state of affairs, we need Maurice Kamto,” said Pierre Emmanuel Binyam during the “Entretien avec …” show on STV.

This interview also gave Pierre Emmanuel Binyam an opportunity to address questions about challenges to Maurice Kamto’s return as head of the Mouvement pour la renaissance du Cameroun.

“Regarding disputes over Maurice Kamto’s return, I have told you clearly that they do not exist. No instance has opened a debate on Maurice Kamto’s return within the party. On the contrary, motions have been signed urgently requesting his return,” insisted Pierre Emmanuel Binyam.
