In a move driven by personal conviction, Dr Bacary Thior has resigned from his position in the Primature cabinet following the exit of Ousmane Sonko as Prime Minister. The former technical advisor for Health emphasized that his decision was made “in line with his principles.”
In a statement released on Thursday, Dr Thior confirmed his departure, stating that he would remain committed to serving the State wherever his expertise is needed. He also reaffirmed his unwavering support for Ousmane Sonko, leader of the Pastef party and current President of the National Assembly.
