Dembélé’s successful self-test in Budapest ahead of Champions League final
Ousmane Dembélé, crowned Ballon d’Or 2025, made a strong recovery this Friday at the Puskas Arena in Budapest following his calf injury sustained during the last Ligue 1 match against Paris FC (1-2, May 17).
In a press conference held Friday afternoon, Dembélé addressed the lingering concerns about his fitness. «I wasn’t afraid of missing this final,» he declared. «I’ve had ten to fifteen days to prepare, and the staff managed the season brilliantly. I’m at 100%, the team is ready, and we’ve approached this match with complete serenity. We hope everything goes well.»
