The cashew harvest season in Côte d’Ivoire is in full swing, yet the outlook for this year’s production remains uncertain. The Cotton and Cashew Council projected a yield of over 1.3 million tons, a figure consistent with recent years, though this represents a potential decline of 200,000 tons compared to the previous season. While the overall production remains strong, specific regions are struggling, particularly in the Bounkani area of the northeast, where growers face significant challenges.
