For the 29th time, the Galian Awards honored outstanding journalism in Burkina Faso, this year culminating in a ceremony held in Ouagadougou on June 19, 2026. Among the distinguished laureates was journalist Sié Frédéric Kambou, recognized with the Special Ministry of Health Prize in the online press category for his groundbreaking investigation.
