Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly eyeing Ferran Torres as a potential successor to Gonçalo Ramos, who departed for AC Milan on June 30. During his presence in Dallas, ahead of the World Cup semi-final between France and Spain, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta offered his perspective on the future of his forward.

After dedicating three seasons to Paris Saint-Germain, Gonçalo Ramos opted for a new challenge. The Portuguese international completed his move to AC Milan on June 30, in a transaction valued close to €74 million.
“we haven’t had confirmation yet”
With Gonçalo Ramos now gone, PSG is actively searching for a new striker to bolster its attacking line. The club, under the leadership of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, has reportedly identified Ferran Torres, who is currently under contract with FC Barcelona until June 30, 2027. Recent reports indicate that PSG has already secured a preliminary agreement with the Spanish international for a five-year contract. The crucial question, however, remains: what is FC Barcelona’s official stance on this potential transfer?
“he’s an fc barcelona player”
While in Dallas, ahead of the World Cup semi-final showdown between France and Spain, Joan Laporta addressed the persistent rumors surrounding Ferran Torres. “A transfer of Ferran Torres to PSG? I’ve certainly heard about these reports, but we haven’t received any official confirmation as yet,” Laporta stated. He continued, “He is an FC Barcelona player, one of the fourteen talented individuals we have here. Ferran consistently performs at a high level. Every time he steps onto the pitch, he proves to be incredibly dangerous. His assist to Merino, for example, was truly remarkable. Regardless, we have exceptional footballers representing us at the World Cup, which is precisely why I am personally in attendance.”
