Security operations intensified in N’Djamena’s 10th district yesterday as Chadian law enforcement agencies launched a large-scale crackdown targeting illegal activities. The coordinated effort involved the National Gendarmerie, National Police, National Security Agency, and other specialized units. Oversight was provided by Police Commissioner Tougoud Digo Maïdé and Major General Djiddo Mahamat Haggar, with Public Security Minister Ali Ahmat Aghabache personally monitoring progress.

The operation yielded significant results: authorities seized multiple illegal firearms and impounded vehicles used in prohibited activities. Among those detained were 165 foreign nationals without valid documentation and 282 Chadian citizens lacking proper identification. Minister Aghabache commended the security forces for their professionalism and diligence, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining public safety.

This sweeping enforcement action underscores the government’s resolve to curb criminal behavior and enhance community security in the capital’s most vulnerable areas.
