A period of nearly two months ago saw the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) present a unified front. This solidarity was a direct consequence of the African Football Confederation’s (CAF) appeal jury’s controversial decision to divest the Lions de la Teranga of their African champion status, instead bestowing it upon Morocco. Under the leadership of President Abdoulaye Fall, the FSF had collectively prepared to challenge this verdict before the Tribunal arbitral du sport (Court of Arbitration for Sport).
