Laborex Tchad, a subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, commemorated its 30th anniversary this week with a celebration highlighting its pivotal role in Chad’s pharmaceutical sector. The milestone event honored three decades of unwavering commitment to delivering essential medicines and medical supplies nationwide.
Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has been a cornerstone of Chad’s healthcare system, ensuring reliable access to high-quality pharmaceutical products for pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers across major cities such as N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, and Bongor.
The anniversary gathering featured speeches from key figures, including the Chair of the Board, Ms. Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and Mr. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director of CFAO Healthcare.
In her address, Ms. Ngarmbatina expressed deep gratitude to the Chadian authorities for their steadfast support since the company’s inception. She also acknowledged financial partners, pharmacists, distributors, healthcare institutions, and loyal customers for their trust in Laborex Tchad. “You choose us not out of routine, but because of trust. Professionalism defines our mission: ensuring the right medication reaches the right place at the right time for every patient in Chad,” she stated, her voice reflecting both pride and determination.
With a touch of emotion, she added, “Three decades is no small feat, but we’re just getting started—aiming for at least 70 more years of service.”

Mr. Sébastien Roux reflected on his 24-year journey with CFAO Healthcare, praising Laborex Tchad’s enduring legacy and dynamic leadership under its current CEO, Ms. Tignocqua. He paid tribute to former directors, including Ms. Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the company’s workforce for its resilience and dedication.
“Laborex Tchad is a mature company that remains youthful in spirit, thanks to its exceptional team,” he remarked. He also recognized the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, along with banking institutions and pharmaceutical partners for their vital contributions. “Together, we’ve built a robust supply chain that ensures Chad’s healthcare facilities are never short of critical medicines,” he concluded.
The festivities culminated in a joyous atmosphere, enriched by the vibrant beats of the balafon, a traditional instrument that resonated deeply with attendees.
