Leaders of the 7 Merveilles du Peuple Gabonais (7MP) party and the Mouvement Oligui Nguema 100% (MON 100%) presented the outcome of their nationwide tour, held from June 4 to June 25, 2026, across all nine provinces of Gabon. The press conference, conducted at the Cité Damas, summarised the mission’s key takeaways and outlined future directions.
Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, founder and president of both the 7MP and MON 100%, led the delegation that engaged directly with citizens, party members, and local officials. The aim was to gather public concerns and assess the country’s social and political landscape following the 2025 presidential election.
According to Ndzengouma, the tour also served to strengthen internal organisation within the two movements. “Since June 4, 2026, the 7MP and the MON 100% movement have combined their forces to continue the momentum started on February 8, 2025,” he declared.
Throughout the various stops, discussions focused on several issues raised by residents, including youth employment, access to drinking water, road conditions, healthcare, education, and the cost of living. “We went to meet our compatriots to listen to them and understand the realities on the ground,” Ndzengouma explained.

Officials from both organisations also announced a reorganisation of provincial coordination teams, an update of membership records, and the enrollment of new members. “This mission allowed us to identify new local leaders, solidify MON 100%’s presence in all nine provinces, and collect 1,000 membership forms,” the movement’s president added.
Several political figures attended the press conference, including Angélique Ngoma, secretary general of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG), and Gervais Oniane, president of the Union for the Republic (UPR).
Oniane took the floor to urge political parties to prioritise dialogue and consultation. “It is important for political parties to work together in a spirit of unity and responsibility to support the country’s major transformations,” he stated.
At the conclusion of the meeting, 7MP and MON 100% leaders proposed the creation of a consultation platform bringing together political parties that back the actions of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. They believe this exchange forum could facilitate coordination among the various political groups.
