In Paris, a technical issue at the Grand Rex cinema forced supporters to gather in nearby bars to watch the match. After the final whistle, crowds spilled onto the streets, briefly blocking traffic, but were quickly dispersed by police without further incident.

In the VIIe arrondissement along Quai Jacques Chirac, a late-night altercation between rival fans resulted in a minor injury—a supporter suffered a knife wound to the hip and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
