Opposition in DR Congo Demands Action
The opposition in the Democratic Republic of Congo has called for President Félix Tshisekedi to resign and for a mass protest on July 22 to demand his departure.
The C64 opposition group, which includes prominent figures from various parties, made the statement at a press conference in Kinshasa, saying it would not back down and was calling on citizens to organize a massive mobilization to push for Tshisekedi’s resignation.
