Transport Minister Jean Ernest Masséna Ngallè Bibéhè convened with top officials from the National Printing Press and Impact Palmarès R&D on 30 June 2026 to assess technological approaches for bolstering the security of administrative documents and transport certificates.

The Ministry of Transport is advancing its work on upgrading and securing official paperwork. During the meeting, Minister Bibéhè welcomed National Printing Press Director General Oyono Bika Pierre and Impact Palmarès R&D Chief Executive Léonie Kwekam for in-depth discussions.

Impact Palmarès R&D presented a technical solution built on a combination of cutting-edge technologies aimed at improving the protection of official documents against forgery. The proposed system is designed to make documents far harder to duplicate while simplifying verification processes.

Talks also covered the safeguarding of transport titles issued by the ministry, secure marking of letterhead stationery, and opportunities to enhance traceability of administrative documents while boosting non-tax revenue collection.

While acknowledging the promise of the proposals, the transport minister stressed the importance of conducting thorough technical, legal, administrative, and financial feasibility studies before any implementation. The reform initiative seeks to reinforce the reliability and security of official documents.
