The Republic of the Mali has announced the return of its ambassador to Algeria, along with the reopening of its airspace for flights from and to Algeria.
In a statement, the Malian government said it had decided to send back its extraordinary and plenipotentiary envoy to Algeria in the context of a renewed push for cooperation and friendship between the Republic of Mali and the Democratic People’s Republic of Algeria.
The statement also noted that the airspace over Mali is now open to all civilian and military aircraft flying from or to Algeria.
This decision comes just hours after Algeria announced it was reopening its airspace to Malian flights, marking a new milestone in relations between the two countries.
