As the transfer window heats up, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is keeping a close eye on rising talent in Ligue 1, with Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi emerging as a top priority. The 18-year-old midfielder, who still has three years left on his contract, has become the subject of intense interest from multiple clubs—most notably PSG. To secure his signature, the capital club is reportedly prepared to table an eye-catching offer of €70 million, a sum Lille may find hard to refuse.

Ayyoub Bouaddi in action for Lille

Lille’s president, Olivier Létang, has repeatedly emphasized his desire to retain Bouaddi, especially after extending the youngster’s contract until 2029 back in December. Speaking in a recent interview, Létang made it clear that only an extraordinary financial proposal would change his mind. ‘We’ve had regular discussions with Ayyoub, and our priority is to keep him,’ he stated. ‘However, if an offer exceeds €50 million, we might reconsider. But €70 million? That’s the threshold we’re talking about—anything less just won’t cut it.’

Arsenal joins the race for Bouaddi

While PSG appears to lead the chase, English giants Arsenal have also entered the fray, making Bouaddi one of their top transfer targets. According to insider reports, the London club has maintained close contact with the player and his representatives since the start of the year. Though Bouaddi has expressed a preference for Paris, he has not dismissed the possibility of a move to England, leaving the door open for both clubs to compete for his signature.
