AC Milan have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Portuguese international striker Gonçalo Ramos, 25. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal, stating that total agreement is in place between both clubs and the player, who now awaits only the final formalities before officially joining the Rossoneri.

The Portuguese forward joined PSG three years ago from Benfica and is now set to end his spell in the French capital after several seasons marked by fierce competition for places in Paris’s attack. In Lombardy, he will reunite with compatriot Ruben Amorim, recently appointed as Milan’s head coach. Ramos is delighted to move to Serie A and revive his career in a new league.

A record-breaking fee for the Lombardy club

The transfer is shaping up to be historic financially. AC Milan are on the verge of breaking their own transfer record, currently held by Rafael Leão’s arrival from Lille for €50 million. The final fee could reach up to €70 million including bonuses — a significant sum for an Italian club that will only compete in the Europa League next season.

A solid profit for PSG

From an accounting perspective, the deal looks excellent for the Parisian club. PSG originally paid €65 million to bring Ramos from Benfica in the summer of 2023 and are now poised to make a comfortable profit despite the player’s limited playing time in recent seasons in Paris. The medical examination has already been completed, leaving only the official announcement between the two clubs in the coming days.
