The President of the Republic, Romuald Wadagni, has appointed Air Force General Bertin Bada as the new Defence and Security Advisor to the Head of State. This decision, formalised by Decree No. 2026-324, marks a strategic move in the nation’s security framework.
Earlier the same day, several key decrees reshaped the presidential administration, including adjustments to the Republican Guard and the military cabinet, signalling a broader reorganisation of national security structures.
