Minister Abdelatty praised the robust and positive momentum driving relations between Lomé and Cairo, underscoring Egypt’s commitment to deepening its engagement with Togo across multiple sectors.

Regional security and peacebuilding on the agenda

The ministers also addressed security challenges in the Great Lakes and Sahel regions. Abdelatty commended Togo’s mediation efforts in several African conflict zones, reaffirming Egypt’s support for initiatives aimed at fostering peace, stability, and dialogue across the continent.
