Members of the Moroccan Association of Water Professionals (AMEPA) convened for an extraordinary general assembly, where a new administrative council and executive office were elected. The council comprises 27 members, while the executive office includes 12, representing both public and private stakeholders across the sector.
The gathering also served as a platform to present and approve the association’s financial and ethical reports. Additionally, members ratified amendments to AMEPA’s statutes, aiming to modernize its operations in response to evolving water industry trends and enhance industrial sovereignty efforts.

Established in 1997, AMEPA now unites over 95 active members, including public and private operators, multiservice regional companies, concessionaires, industrialists, and specialized engineering firms focused on drinking water and sanitation.
With this refreshed governance, the association seeks to foster a more cohesive and supportive ecosystem, positioning Moroccan expertise in water management, engineering, and industry at the forefront of national, continental, and global standards.
